Betting terms · 2026-04

The fine print,
without the fog.

These terms govern the sportsbook affiliate parts of the site — the parts with betting links. The analytics side is covered by our main Terms.

Who this section applies to

These terms cover the parts of The One Analytics that surface sportsbook offers, affiliate links, and betting-specific odds information. If you never see a sportsbook button on the site — for example because you're in a state where sports betting isn't legal, or because you opted out at the age gate — these terms don't affect you. Our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy still apply.

Age + location requirement

You must be 21 or older and physically located in a U.S. state where legal online sports betting is available to view sportsbook promotions. We ask you to self-attest this before surfacing any sportsbook buttons. The sportsbook you sign up with will verify your identity, age, and location again before accepting a real wager — that's their legal responsibility, not ours.

If you're 18, 19, or 20, you are welcome to use the analytics side of the site (player profiles, stats, grading, the 2026 draft class). You simply won't see betting links.

Affiliate relationships

Links labeled “Place this bet” or pointing to DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics, or other sportsbooks are affiliate placements. If you click through and create a new account, we may earn a commission from that operator at no cost to you. This is a material connection you should know about — required by the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).

Affiliate compensation does not change which sportsbooks we surface or which prop grades our model produces. Our analytics methodology is described on the methodology page.

What our analysis is, and isn't

The One Analytics publishes statistical models, projections, grades, and commentary. These are informational research products. They are not guarantees of any betting outcome, and they are not financial or gambling advice. Past performance of any model or projection does not predict future results.

Sportsbook lines move constantly — by the time you see a prop grade, the line may have shifted away from the edge we identified, or injury news may have changed the matchup entirely. Always check the current line and your own judgment before placing any wager.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for complying with the gambling laws of your jurisdiction and the terms of service of any sportsbook you use. We do not take bets, hold funds, or act as an intermediary between you and any sportsbook. We publish analysis; the sportsbook runs the wagering.

If you're experiencing problems with gambling, please visit our Responsible Gambling page or call 1-800-GAMBLER. Every major sportsbook also offers deposit limits, time limits, and self-exclusion tools inside their apps.

State availability

Legal online sports betting is available in most U.S. states. A handful — including California, Texas, Utah, Hawaii, Idaho, Alaska, Georgia, and South Carolina as of April 2026 — do not permit online sports wagering at all. A few others permit only in-person or tribal betting. We detect your state via standard IP geolocation and hide sportsbook content when you're visiting from a state where it isn't available.

This detection isn't perfect. If you're on a VPN or an unusual carrier, the state may resolve incorrectly. Please don't use the site in a way that circumvents your state's gambling laws — that's on you, not us.

Changes

We may update these betting-specific terms as state laws change, as we add or remove sportsbook partners, or as compliance best practices evolve. The current version is always at this URL, and substantive changes will be noted in a dated footer.
